Mental Health Diagnosis

We offer a variety of powerful evaluation options that provide a depth of information to our clients and our treatment team that are not typically met through individual therapy alone. Our evaluations are completed by NYS Licensed professionals using standardized assessment measures, lab testing results, and diagnostic/research based training.

If you are looking to be formally evaluated/diagnosed due to mental health concerns, we have several options for you. Diagnosis is achieved through standardized psychological evaluation. *Please note that recorded diagnosis is never a part of treatment with us unless specifically requested, or insurance reimbursement is requested. Evaluation results may also be kept confidential at your request.

What is an evaluation?

An evaluation consists of an extended patient interview and/or testing using standardized assessment measures. These evaluations can only be performed and analyzed by certain credentialed clinicians. Evaluation provides a depth of information that can’t be achieved through talk therapy alone, often providing or ruling out a formal diagnosis which can be used in a variety of situations or to advise treatment. Depending on what type of evaluation you choose and it’s outcome, you may be provided with reports or detailed documentation of your results post session. We are now providing evaluations for both children & adults.
