The Obesity  Medicine Association is the largest organization of health care providers working to improve the lives of patients affected by obesity. As an expert in obesity medicine and the lead clinician of our Semaglutide program, our approach uses comprehensive, scientific, and individualized methods while treating obesity, which helps patients achieve their health and weight goals with excellent outcomes.

Membership pricing

Before becoming a member, all patients must be evaluated for medical appropriateness for use of GLP-1 medication.

• Basic Evaluation for appropriateness: 40 Minutes. Extended lab work ordered (billed to insurance by lab,) body composition testing completed, thorough history taken. Medication, diet, and supplement information provided. Evaluation fee: $240

• Extended Evaluation: 60 Minutes. *This option provides access to additional initial functional testing available with our providers such as hormone testing, toxin testing, Gut microbiome testing, Genetic Testing, & more. Extended lab work is ordered (covered by insurance,) body composition testing will be completed, and a thorough health history taken. GLP 1 Medication, diet, and supplement information provided. Evaluation Fee: $350

Once approved for the program through assessment, clients are eligible to become members. This includes:

• Medication shipped to you in the appropriate dose according to your ongoing progress. Price does not rise with dosage increases, even if patient is on the maximum dosage for an extended period.

• Includes one 30-minute first follow-up session with a provider to discuss lab result findings from initial evaluation and medication experiences.

• 20-minute follow ups included to evaluate ongoing dosage needs and side effect management.

• 2 free on-site yoga classes included monthly!

• Between-session e-mail support from a member of our medical team

• Follow-up body composition testing & labs to track progress accurately

• Information and guidance on diet and supplementation for optimal results.

Discounted monthly semaglutide membership - $350

Already a medical client at WWS? Special membership pricing is available for all existing, ongoing medical clients! This applies to clients receiving medication & follow up sessions regularly with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at WHOLE. This does not apply to therapy-only clients or evaluation-only clients that do not have follow up sessions scheduled regularly. Initial assessment & associated fees may not be necessary for established clients.

What makes our program superior & what is included?

It is important to consider your options carefully when assessing your Semaglutide provider, as many do not provide adequate support, quality, or medical monitoring needed to safely prescribe this medication long term. • You will work one-on-one with an experienced functional medicine practitioner and our extended medical team for initial evaluation & follow ups and be given the time needed to discuss your experience.

Clients often worry about weight re-gain when choosing to taper from GLP-1 medications, and we are prepared with tools to empower you with long term success in mind, as well as a customized taper plan.

• Membership includes 2 free on-site yoga classes monthly!

• Between session e-mail support will be provided from our medical administrator who can field your questions knowledgeably as needed.

• Our use of compounded medication out-of-network provides ultimate treatment flexibility as we are not bound by the constraints imposed by insurance companies, many of which have not yet caught up with the recent advancements in medicine. This allows us to utilize the latest breakthroughs in healthcare such as Semaglutide at a price point that is accessible.

• Quality of medication is of utmost importance when it comes to compounded medications, sadly with many counterfeit products on the market at this time. We  insist on working only with pharmacies that are  Nationally Accredited through the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board and who voluntarily surpass the strictest of international regulatory standards. 

• Assessment & follow up sessions are provided for appropriate dosing and side-effect management.

• Your overall state of health will be assessed when entering the program through an extended blood panel and body composition scan using a bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) InBody Machine. This allows you instant information regarding your metabolic state, muscle/fat/water ratio, visceral fat percentage, accurate basal metabolic rate, and appropriate caloric intake for your body, and allows us to track your body composition progress as you lose weight.

• Medication will be shipped right to your door - no pharmacy pickups necessary.

• You will gain access to our private WWS GLP1 online patient group where you can share your successes and remain anonymous (If preferred!)

• Access to additional functional testing if interested (price of testing not included in this membership) such as hormonal imbalance testing, toxin testing, GI mapping, genetic testing, & more!

• 15% discounted session rates on joining The Wellness Blueprint group program, where clients are provided with a wealth of information on modern health research & tips, healthy eating for long term treatment of chronic conditions, and managing addictive eating patterns, whether on the medication indefinitely or tapering down, this supportive education group prepares you for lifelong success.

Important Membership Policies To Note:

• Each patient must be evaluated for medication appropriateness. Evaluation does not guarantee program entry or prescription will be provided as this is based on complex medical circumstance. Evaluation fees are non-refundable but all test results will be provided for personal use.

• This is an out-of-network program that does not work with insurance companies. We cannot submit for insurance reimbursement on your behalf even if you may be eligible for coverage.

• Patients cannot continue to receive medications without proper follow-up sessions taking place as dictated by prescribers. Not attending follow-up sessions or filling out needed check-in reports may result in removal from our program.

• Non-payment of membership fee will result in discontinuation of medication shipments and removal from membership.

• If a membership is discontinued for any reason, patients are not able to restart a membership for a period of 90 days.

• This program is not appropriate for those with a history of restrictive Eating Disorder diagnosis such as Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa.

• Semaglutide is a generic compounded GLP-1 medication. We do not provide the prescription “Ozempic.”
